Dr. Steinhauer is a wonderful dentist that is great with kids. My youngest was completely terrified of going to the dentist due to a bad experience with another dentist. When I switch to Dr. Steinhauer he took time to get to know my daughter and put her at ease. Now she looks forward to going to see him.
I am very protective over my grandchildren, I mean really bad. I thought I was going to have a problem after my daughter told me my granddaughter would be going back on her own. I said “WHAT” but she assured me she woud be ok. Well, I am very happy she did. It shows how responsible she was to be seen with out me hovering over the dentist and staff. I am proud of my granddaughter. I was very pleased with Dr. Steinhauer and staff. They also re-assured me. I highly recommend the office. We have to adapt to all types of policies in our life time.
My daughter has been going to Dr Steinhauer for years and is very happy with him (she is 6yrs old) and my youngest ( he’s 2 1/2) has been going to him since he was a baby. They take them back by themselves as a policy so that the children are more confident and do not feel that they have to play up to parental feelings. I am always surprised by the lack of upset children when I am in the waiting area. He is one of the few childrens dentist who will do concience sedation on dental work with children.
